Come and meet with your neighbors across North Dakota, to discuss some common rural community issues and opportunities. Each session will include panelists who have addressed an issue; telling what worked ... and what did not work.

Granville American Legion Post 155 Raffle Tickets Available
Saturday, June 3, 2008. The Granville American Legion Post 155 Annual Raffle tickets are now available. Fifteen prizes to be given away including CA$H, Hotel Stay, Fair Tickets, 25 lbs of Beef, Gift Certificatrs and many other great prizes. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. The Drawing will be held June 3, and the winners need not be present to win. Proceeds will benefit the summer youth program.

Mylo Jones 12th Annual Memorial Scholarship Pool Tournament
Friday, March 9, and Saturday, March 10, 2007.The Mylo Jones 12th Annual Memorial Scholarship Pool Tournament will be held at the Granville Community Center, White Buffalo Lounge, and the Branding Iron Saloon. The $20 entry fee includes a collectable t-shirt, food and door prizes.
The tourney is now full , but if you would like to play, call the White Buffalo Lounge at 728-6447, or the Branding Iron at 728-9544, and place your name on the reserve list.
All proceeds are awarded as scholarships to the graduating seniors at Granville H. S. The Class of 2006 recipients were Lindsey Frey, Brittney Lashman, and Krysten Green.

Granville's "Old Fashioned" Christmas Celebration
Sunday, December 3, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Granville's Annual Santa Day celebrates an "Old Fashioned" Christmas at the Granville Community Center. Door prizes, cider, coffee & cookies will be available. Treat bags for the kids are being donated by the Granville American Legion. The Rising Stars 4-H club will provide BINGO! 1 to 2 p.m. Jack & the Buffalo Boys will provide music from 2 to 3 p.m.
There will be a special appearance from Santa and his elves. Santa Photos and Frames to decorate will be available for $5.00 each, or 3 for $12.00. The Christmas Bake Sale will feature homemade Christmas Sweet and Lefsa. Get your Christmas baking done and support the Granville Community Center.
People are needed to donate tins and baked goods to fill them with for the Christmas Bake Sale to benefit the Community Center. Anyone wishing to help, donate or participate should call Nancy at the Granville City Office, 728-6369.
Granville's Memorial Diner will feature a special dinner of Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Vegetable, Dinner Roll & Dessert. Cozy Cottage and Zimbelman's Gifts will be open for your Christmas Shopping Needs.
