Rural Community Forum Learning from Each Other


Friday, June 13, 2008, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time
North Dakota Heritage Center , 612 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck

Come and meet with your neighbors across North Dakota, to discuss some common rural community issues and opportunities. Each session will include panelists who have addressed an issue; telling what worked ... and what did not work.

Granville American Legion Post 155 Raffle Tickets Available

Saturday, June 3, 2008. The Granville American Legion Post 155 Annual Raffle tickets are now available. Fifteen prizes to be given away including CA$H, Hotel Stay, Fair Tickets, 25 lbs of Beef, Gift Certificatrs and many other great prizes. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. The Drawing will be held June 3, and the winners need not be present to win. Proceeds will benefit the summer youth program.


Hand-Pieced Quilt Raffle Tickets & Memorial Day Dinner Planned

Monday, May 26, 2008. Hope Congregational United Church of Christ Women's Society Hand-Pieced Quilt Raffle. The drawing will take place Monday, May 26, after the Memorial Day Dinner in the church basement. Tickets are $1 each and available from area businesses and church members. Assistant to the Bishop Keith Garness will install Pastor Mary Miska for the Granville and Norwich Lutheran Church. The Installation Service is to be followed by a potluck. All are invited
